This app provides a simpler, easier, and more fun way to learn to play any baroque/English recorder. It generates many different sequences to practice any key of any mode of all standard scales and many unusual ones. Intuitive controls help you move between them and see and hear the underlying patterns and relationships. It is also a powerful tool for music analysis, ear-training, general musical reference, as well as a fun stylophone instrument with the fingering patterns and off notes hidden. Works great on Android phones.
The fingering chart represents the thumb hole at the top, then the three left finger holes/keys, then the four right finger holes/keys. The half closed holes represent either the mostly closed thumb hole for the upper octaves, or one of the holes being covered on the double holes/keys. Click/touch and drag in the top half of the fingering chart to play any note, and in the bottom half to play only the highlighted notes. click/touch the note label region to set it to that key, or drag on the note label portion to set the mode.
