Space Debris Visualization

*note* as of now, since the script uses OpenGL, it cannot run as an applet on browsers. You can watch a video of the sketch in action here: An interactive visualization of space debris found in our atmosphere, orbiting around the earth. Official data from NASA—a catalog of all of the debris measured each year from 1959 to 2011—is plotted as points in space using a modified version of Aaron Koblin's Simple Radiohead Scene Viewer. Left and right arrows toggle between years. Up and down arrows zoom in and out. Click, hold and scroll mouse to rotate view.
