The mouse's vertical position determines the latitude. Move the mouse to the top for the north pole, the bottom for the south pole, or anywhere in between.
The close a point is to the center of the grid, the higher the altitude of the sun. The angular position maps to the azimuth (horizontal angle) of the sun (south is down).
