Weber-Fechner Law: Interaction of Color

4 equal rectangles of same color, slightly translucent, overlap to create 4 different variations of the color separated by 3 kind of boundaries. The law highlights how arithmetical progression in the layers of colors is perceived as that of geometric proportion. Therefore the increase (of decrease) is not in equal steps, eventually leading to an unchanging saturation in the center.
