This sketch is cheating a lot.. It uses a real 3d model generated with great opensource project http://www.makehuman.org/ The model is imported via SAITO and Matt Diton's OBJLoader library http://code.google.com/p/saitoobjloader Animation is achieved by applying Perlin's noise. This is tricky, but resulting the slight movement an illusion of man stepping. Atmosphere is created by combining Quasimondo's superfast blurring algorithm http://incubator.quasimondo.com/processing/superfast_blur.php and set of pixel filters..
